Poetry

We have been writing some free verse poems about BIG CATS,
Pumas, lions, tigers, jaguars, cheetahs and leopards.
We included similes and alliteration in our poems.
We have published some below.

Rabbits visit our ESOL class...

Thomas in Room 12 brought his pet rabbits Lettuce and Daisy in to visit us.
Some of us held the rabbits.  They felt soft and fluffy.
Thomas told us they were "molting" which means they are losing their fur.
We had to shake our jumpers outside after touching them.
Youngheen discovered that rabbits have sharp claws! ouch!
