Korean language week

Learning about Korean Culture
Last week was Korean Chu-seok (Korean Thanksgiving) and the Year 3-6 ESOL students from Mrs Fitzgerald’s class, Rosa’s class and Paran’s class had some special cultural day experiences. This was a great chance to celebrate and learn about another culture.

The ESOL students made Korean mandu (dumplings) and also made their own Korean Jegi (Korean traditional outdoor game). We even had our own Jegi Cha-gi competition. All of the students have written about their experiences. Please see the photos below of our delicious dumplings and our jegi. This week it is Chinese language week and the students are making Chinese spring rolls and playing some traditional Chinese games.
